Knowledge library and curriculum

Course content powers the TA, oral question generation, and rubric context. Keep documents accurate and up to date.

Curriculum / syllabus

The initial syllabus upload flow extracts structure and topics for your class. Later, use Curriculum in the sidebar to:

  • View and edit parsed syllabus sections
  • Upload additional unit materials
  • Align oral assessments with unit objectives

Supported formats commonly include PDF and Word documents; very large files may take longer to process.

Knowledge library

Depending on your plan, attach readings, slides, or reference PDFs to the knowledge library. Documents are processed asynchronously — wait for "ready" status before expecting Coral to cite them.

Tips for better retrieval

  • Use clear headings in source PDFs
  • One topic per file when possible
  • Remove outdated editions to avoid conflicting answers
  • Prefer text-based PDFs over scanned images (OCR may apply but adds delay)

Document analysis

Some flows show document analysis results after upload — review extracted topics and fix gaps before students rely on the TA for exam prep.

Organization note

Your organization's privacy settings may include automatic video deletion for submissions; knowledge documents are separate from student submission videos.
