Customize your TA
Open Customize from the class sidebar (or Set up your 24/7 TA from Summary) to shape how Coral interacts with students.
Typical settings

| Voice | Text-to-speech voice for spoken responses |
| Instructions | Tone, boundaries, what Coral should or should not answer |
| Language | Class platform language (also affects RTL for Arabic) |
| Feature toggles | Enable or limit student-facing capabilities per plan |
Write instructions as you would brief a human TA: cite policies, defer grading disputes to the instructor, and require citations from course materials when appropriate.
Teaching style
Upload syllabus and readings so Coral mirrors your course emphasis. Without documents, Coral may answer generically.
Revisit instructions after the first week of student questions — common misconceptions belong in the instructions field.
Class settings
Class settings (from sidebar or settings entry) includes:
- Platform language for shared UI in that class
- Plan & billing for the class (upgrade, downgrade rules)
- Plan changes may be restricted (e.g. cannot downgrade certain tiers mid-term)
Testing your TA
- Save customize changes.
- Open Chats as a teacher preview or ask a test question from a student test account.
- Confirm Coral refuses off-topic or academic dishonesty requests per your instructions.
